My Great Lakes 2T-1A-2 Rebuild Diary 2007.

08/09-October-2007. My control surfaces need to be inspected, so I have started work on the centre section. I am replacing the rear spar and all the ribs. Every one of the original ribs was cracked/scrap.

I have also created a HELP ME page on this site for areas/parts etc that I don't know what fits. Please have a look especially if you have a Great Lakes 2T-1A-2.
Here is this evenings progress:

The past two evenings I have refitted the centre section spar end brackets, taking special care to ensure they are 100% accurate.

	I reassembled the original spar with the original scrap ribs to use as a pattern. The new and old ribs.
	Centre section trailing edge. Handle on trailing edge. This will be tricky to work around when recovering. The trailing edge (trial) fitted to the new ribs and rear spar.
