My Great Lakes 2T-1A-2 Rebuild Diary 2007.

27/28/29-December-2007. While waiting for some parts to arrive I had a look at the R/H upper wing. It has been inspected by my inspector and the spars are okay. The wing just needs some small items replaced and refurbished. Cleaned and revarnish.
I also decided to fit the L/H upper wing to the centre section. I had removed the inner rib and I want to ensure it alignes with the centre section properly.

R/H Upper wing just needs a little work.
Small items (on the R/H Wing) like the joint on this inspection hole needed to be repaired.
Back to the L/H Upper wing. Fixing the centre wooden brace..
Applied some varnish.
Checking the alignment for the L/H upper wing connection to centre section.
I needed to replace the blocks at the top and bottom of the spar, this effects the position of the inner rib so I fitted the wing to the centre section to make sure the alignment is correct.
Looks good to me!
Trailing edge is in alignment.
Leading edge looks good.
